Parenting is a non-stop endeavor, and some days you just wish you could have a bit of a break. Our Kid’s Day Out program will give you a weekly dose of calm, while your kids enjoy a day full of their favorite activities.

Program Info

The Program

Kid’s Day Out is designed for children three months through pre-K and includes:

  • Quality care in an energetic, nurturing environment
  • A balance of active teaching and quiet activities
  • Crafts
  • Recreation
  • Storytime
  • Music
  • Lunch (from home) and snacks

Schedule

9:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Tuesdays or Wednesdays

September through May

Weeks off for fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break and Easter

Important Dates

March 12/13 – NO KDO – Spring Break
April 16/17 – NO KDO – Holy Week
May 14/15 – KDO Ends

Enrollment Process and Fees

Please complete the enrollment form and return it, along with the $50 non-refundable enrollment fee to the church office. Children are welcomed to the program on a first come, first served basis.

One child: $65/month
Two children: $120/month
Three children: $175/month

  • Special activity days (like water day) for older children

9:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Tuesdays or Wednesdays

June 4 – July 24 (no program July 2/3)

Current Openings
Tuesdays: 3 – 17 months, 3 years – Pre-K (the 18-24 month and 2-year-old slots are full)
Wednesdays: 3 – 17 months, 4 years – entering third grade (the 18 – 24 month and 2- and 3-year-old slots are full)

Enrollment & Fees

Summer enrollment is now open, and best of all it’s online! Click below to register and pay. There is a $25/child non-refundable enrollment fee.

Tuition

One child: $135
Two children: $260
Three children: $385

You can now pay your enrollment fee and tuition online. If you opt not to pay the tuition when you enroll, it is due on your child’s first day of summer Kid’s Day Out.

Frequent Questions

What should I bring?

Items to help your child feel comfortable. Diapers, bottles, pacifiers, extra clothing, and so on. Please label all of your child’s belongings with their name—including diapers.

Lunch. A nutritious, easily prepared (and easily eaten) lunch and drink. If necessary, please cut food into small, bite-size pieces so your child can enjoy lunch unassisted. Keep in mind that a refrigerator and microwave are available only in the nursery, and we are a nut-free church.

Are you peanut-free?

Yes! Peanut allergies can be extremely dangerous, and Eastminster Church has a strict, no-nut policy for our children’s programs.  Please refrain from including in your child’s lunch any foods with nuts of any kind. This includes most chocolate candies like M&M’s. Please carefully read ingredient lists to help us keep our little ones safe.

What happens if I'm running late for pick-up?

We strictly enforce our 1:15pm pick-up time to ensure the well being and security of your children. You’ll be assessed a fee of $5 for the first 15 minutes you’re late and $1 for every minute thereafter. The fee will be added to your monthly charge.
