At Eastminster we have always been committed to health and safety especially when it comes to the little ones in our care. COVID-19 has brought a new need for heightened policy. Below are the changes being implemented beginning in the fall semester.
- Class size limit of no more than 10 kids
- Staggered drop-off times and one adult per family at drop off and pick up
- Temperature checks at entry door
- Enhanced disinfecting procedures during and after each day
- No activities with multiple classrooms
We will adjust COVID policies and requirements as needed due to the developments of the virus upon the discernment of the church and relevant authorities.

What should I bring?
Items to help your child feel comfortable. Diapers, bottles, pacifiers, extra clothing, and so on. Please label all of your child’s belongings with their name—including diapers.
Lunch. A nutritious, easily prepared (and easily eaten) lunch and drink. If necessary, please cut food into small, bite-size pieces so your child can enjoy lunch unassisted. Keep in mind that a refrigerator and microwave are available only in the nursery, and we are a nut-free church.
Are you peanut-free?
Yes! Peanut allergies can be extremely dangerous, and Eastminster Church has a strict, no-nut policy for our children’s programs. Please refrain from including in your child’s lunch any foods with nuts of any kind. This includes most chocolate candies like M&M’s. Please carefully read ingredient lists to help us keep our little ones safe.
What happens if I'm running late for pick-up?
We strictly enforce our 1:15pm pick-up time to ensure the well being and security of your children. You’ll be assessed a fee of $5 for the first 15 minutes you’re late and $1 for every minute thereafter. The fee will be added to your monthly charge.
