Don’t Do Life Alone
Here’s the truth: Knowing, loving, and becoming like Jesus isn’t easy. After all, He asks us to live differently from the culture around us—exchanging our preferences and comforts for His priorities. Participating in worship services teaches us what that actually looks like; engaging in community through Grow Groups helps us practice doing it.
Grow Groups at Eastminster
Beginning the week of January 9
Intimate Allies (Parents of Young Families)
Discipleship for those leading young families. This semester we will learn from the book and RightNow Media series Parenting - 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family by Paul David Tripp. In this life-giving book, Paul Tripp offers parents much more than a to-do list. Instead, he presents us with a big-picture view of God’s plan for us as parents. Outlining fourteen foundational principles centered on the gospel, he shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God—grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents.
