Again this year during LENT, we are holding a food and formula drive for two of our missions partners, Union Rescue Mission and Embrace of Wichita. URM’s mission is helping homeless and hurting people restore their lives through God’s love. The Mission is expecting a high volume of homeless neighbors coming through their doors this Spring, and their pantry is currently running low. Embrace gives hope to men and women experiencing unexpected pregnancies, empowering them to choose life. Please bring non-perishable food items and formula to the church and place in the collection bins in the Lobby March 19 – April 2. Let’s meet the needs of the hungry, both young and old!

Shopping List: canned foods, instant boxed potatoes, juice, pork and beans, baked beans, spaghetti sauce, rice, vegetable or olive oil, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly, sugar, flour, breakfast drinks, coffee, pancake syrup. They also always need cold medication, cough drops, tissues, paper towels and especially toilet paper.
Formula: Generic brands of Similac Powder Formula, – look for the orange or blue lid!
